Disabled Information and Advice Line - DIAL Great Yarmouth

Registered Charity No.299909

About Us

DIAL Great Yarmouth provides an advice and information service for disabled people and carers within the Borough of Great Yarmouth.

We offer a practical service through our office, telephone advice line and home visits, to ensure that our local disabled and carers community has access to information; empowering people to make decisions regarding their lives, reducing financial exclusion, lowering social isolation and raising community involvement.

Our service is free, confidential and impartial.

Our service is provided by volunteers, many of whom have first hand experience of disabilities giving us an enhanced depth of understanding of our client’s needs.

We can assist with:

  • benefits advice
  • finances and debt advice
  • welfare rights
  • blue badge enquiries
  • disability discrimination act
  • local holiday information
  • local leisure activities
  • local support groups
  • radar keys
  • disability access advisory stickers

Anyone who feels they face social barriers or isolation due to an illness, disability or impairment may access our services.

UPDATE: Under a new funding arrangement, DIAL is now able to see individuals without disabilities, for benefits and debt advice.  Please telephone if you require information or advice.
