Welcome to October’s monthly newsletter.
October brings Halloween, this is our window display being a work in progress at the moment. As you can see this advertises our letter reading service if you are struggling to read and understand letters, This service is provided by our reception volunteers Tuesdays 10am-4pm, Wednesdays 1pm-4pm and Thursdays 10am-1pm. So come along and get those letters looked at.
Firstly, to advise that Norfolk Family Mediation is now in the DIAL office fortnightly on a Saturday, the next session is 5th October. Please call them for an appointment on 01603 620588 if you have a relationship breakdown and need help with making child arrangements or dividing assets.
East Coast College English classes with tutor Catherine on Tuesdays at 1.30-3.30pm has returned. So come along if you wish to improve your english and gain a qualification. Also ESOL classes with Alex have returned to DIAL, they are every Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am - 12.30pm. So again pop along if you are in need of improving or learning english.
Just a reminder that DIAL is now offering a money and debt advice service in Belton at The John Green Institute every second Wednesday of the month with Stephen 10.30am - 12.30pm.

Norwich Credit Union are here Mondays 1-4pm and extra hour has been added due to demand, and Fridays 10-12.30pm providing advice to anyone having trouble with opening a Bank account or just wanting to save for a rainy day or to simply pay the bills. They are also offering Child Benefit Loans and will be taking appointment bookings on 01603 764904 or 07504 433758.
Our Craft Club is held on a Monday and Thursday 10-3.30pm for those of you who enjoy crafts and being creative. Just come along to see what its all about and maybe join in and meet new people. Below is just some of the things that have been created within the Craft Club.
We have some exciting events coming up:-
As reported last month we are currently preparing a room at the DIAL office, so that “Go Geronimo” can install some gym equipment and run some exercise classes. We are hoping this will be early November. Further details to follow on this, so watch this space.
Social Prescribing have provided funding to set up a women’s group focusing on health and wellbeing. This will be a small group so get in touch quick if you are interested in joining in. This started on 14th August and will run for 8 weeks on Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm and the venue is Feathers Futures, 17-18 Broad Row Great Yarmouth.
