MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE - EMERGENCY INFORMATION SERVICE
Message in a Bottle can be a life saver especially if you live alone. These are free and store your medical information required in an emergency. The bottle is stored in the fridge and stickers placed by front door and on fridge door to alert the emergency services of your medical needs, medication and next of kin details.
Radar Keys are for people with medical needs and disabilities who need the use of disabled toilets, and on proof of entitlement these can be purchased from DIAL at a cost of £3.50
This is a green fingered project through the The Green Light Trust run by Sian, for volunteers who wish to participate in gardening activities and meet new people.
LIVING WELL CONNECTORS
Social Prescribing project where Living Well Connectors based in GP surgeries can provide social prescribing offering non-clinical services such as social, economic and environmental support for adults over the age of 18. This service can be offered to youby GP’s, nurses and other primary care professionals.
GET SET DIAL
Get Set Dial is a two year funded project through Comic Relief to increase the physical activity levels of working age adults in Gt. Yarmouth.
The Sports Community Development Worker will work with members of the community to access existing sessions, identify physical activities they would like to be part of in their local neighbourhood and to encourage and aid them to deliver their own activity sessions.
