Hi, welcome to our February edition of of our monthly newsletter and firstly we would like to remind you that its DIAL’s AGM - details below.
DIAL Great Yarmouth will be holding its AGM on Friday
8th February at 11am
in the Northgate Room, Great Yarmouth Library.
There will be two guest speakers :-
Tom Brown from the Green Light Trust and
Kevin Baynes from East Coast College
followed by light refreshments.
Please arrive for 10.45am to ensure a prompt start.
All are welcome to attend.
Pensionwise are available alternate Wednesdays and Fridays please call 01379 658205 for an appointment.
East Coast College are here providing ESOL English classes, Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.30am - 12.30pm plus if you would like to improve your Maths skills we hope to soon have classes here on Fridays. More information as we receive it. Please pop along to Kingside if you wish to join these classes or for further information call 01493 856900
We also have Norfolk County Council providing 5 week Maths, English and IT courses. Please note these are for women only and are as follows: Starting week commencing 11 February :- Mondays - Maths 9.30am til 11.30am, English 1pm til 3pm and Tuesdays - IT 1pm til 3pm. Also on Wednesdays we half self esteem classes again provided by Norfolk County Council for women and these are 10am til 12pm. We now have Great Yarmouth & Waveney MIND working in the building providing support with mental health issues. For all enquiries please call MIND on 01493 842129.

Norwich Credit Union are here Mondays 2-4pm and Fridays 10-12.30pm providing advice to anyone having trouble with opening a Bank account or just wanting to save for a rainy day or to simply pay the bills.
Our Craft Club is held on a Thursday 10-3.30pm for those of you who enjoy crafts and being creative. Just come along to see what its all about and maybe join in and meet new people.
Route 9-5 cafe is back - being held at DIAL alternate Thursdays 10am-12pm. For those who have been out of work for some time and would like help getting back into employment or volunteering. Anyone wishing to join in please come along to see what its all about.
